Real Problems. Real Systems. Measurable Results.

Every engagement below involved a system the business couldn't afford to get wrong. The clients are anonymized but the work is real. These are the kinds of problems IES takes on.

Selected engagements

LUX
Global Inventory Search Reengineering
Luxury Retail

Six weeks before go-live, the vendor demonstrated a global jewelry and watch inventory search that took over 2 hours to run. The business required data no older than 15 minutes. With go-live approaching, waiting for the vendor was not an option.

2 hrs to 2 minSearch runtime after reengineering
4 weeksWorking solution under go-live pressure
15 minRefresh cycle, avg data age under 10 min
The problem
The vendor’s NAV-based search ran in C/AL code and took over 2 hours to complete a full global inventory query. The business needed a 15-minute refresh cycle to support operations across international store locations. Six weeks before go-live, there was no time for the vendor to rebuild their solution.
What was built
Reverse engineered the NAV architecture and C/AL logic to map the underlying data model. Rebuilt the global inventory search natively in Microsoft SQL Server, bypassing NAV entirely. Solved a series of technical blockers along the way. Working solution delivered in 4 weeks, refined through go-live and beyond.
FIN SVC
ERP Divestment Under Deadline
Financial Services

A public investment management company needed to split into two independent public entities in 90 days to meet an SEC filing deadline. The project required preserving all historical transactions, documents, and approvals across both entities while maintaining full GAAP compliance.

90 daysFull divestment delivered on deadline
$200KProject delivered on time and on budget
ZeroLoss of historical transaction data
The problem
The company faced a hard SEC filing deadline requiring a fully compliant ERP split. Both resulting entities needed to operate independently with complete historical records intact. No data loss, no compliance gaps, no delays.
What was built
Designed and delivered a GAAP-compliant ERP divestment solution splitting the parent into two fully independent public entities. Preserved complete transaction history, document trail, and approval records for both organizations. Managed all technical execution within the 90-day window.
E-COM
Payment Automation for a National Franchiser
Ecommerce / Retail

A national franchiser was manually processing weekly payments across 250+ franchisees with no mechanism for corrections or reversals at scale. Multiple distinct payment streams including R&D, Advertising, and a company charity each required accurate recording against both the parent company and the applicable subsidiary.

40 hrsSaved monthly through automation
250+Franchisees on a single payment system
AutoReconciliation and conflict detection
The problem
Manual payment processing across 250+ franchisees was labor-intensive and error-prone. Multiple payment streams needed correct routing to both parent and subsidiary entities. No automated mechanism existed for flagging conflicts or processing corrections and reversals at scale.
What was built
Engineered a custom bank integration automating weekly payment collection and transmission. Built auto-reconciliation and payment correction and reversal mechanisms using a staging interface to surface conflicts from store POS systems before they hit the ledger. All payment streams routed correctly across parent and subsidiary entities.
AVIA
Aviation Lease Management System
Aviation / Financial Services

A financial services company managing aviation assets had no connection between lease contract data, airframe and engine maintenance records, and their deal acquisition pipeline. Each system operated in isolation, creating blind spots across the asset lifecycle.

UnifiedLease, maintenance, and deal data
LiveMaintenance forecasting from asset data
Two-waySalesforce and ERP integration
The problem
Lease contracts, maintenance records, and deal pipeline lived in separate systems with no integration. Operations teams couldn’t forecast maintenance obligations from contract data. Deal acquisition in Salesforce had no visibility into financial and lease data in the ERP.
What was built
Designed and built a two-way integration between Salesforce Deal Management and Microsoft Business Central ERP with a custom aviation vertical. Built lease management with contract requirement tracking and integrated external airframe and engine data for live maintenance forecasting. Deal acquisition and financial data kept in sync across both platforms.
